Effect of Modification with a Biocide Containing Metal Nanoparticles on Selected LDPE Properties

In this work, the physicomechanical, chemical and thermal properties of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) modified with a biocide containing metal nanoparticles: nanoAg, nanoCu, nanoFe2O3 were examined. The presented studies, apart from previously proven antimicrobial effectiveness, have shown that application in concentrations 0.5% 1% has least influence on remaining properties. (2–5%), despite lack significant structure, primarily influenced strength melt flow rate (MFR).
